1. Transparent granular form, can be directly extruded and blended with PP, making it easy to process.
2. Absence of unsaturated double bonds in the molecular structure, low saturated carbon content, excellent thermal stability, and superior weather resistance compared to other elastomers.
3. Uniform copolymer sequence distribution, narrow molecular weight distribution, low crystallinity, and good compatibility with polyolefins. Very low glass transition temperature and high elongation at break, suitable for toughening PP and improving its low-temperature impact toughness.
4. Multiple crosslinking methods available, including peroxide, silane, and radiation. Crosslinked POE exhibits superior heat aging and UV aging resistance compared to EPDM and EPR.
5. The soft, curled structure of octene chains and crystallized ethylene chains as physical crosslinking points in the molecular structure provide excellent mechanical properties and good processability.
6. Good flowability, excellent dispersion with fillers, and high weld line strength in the final product. 7. High shear sensitivity and melt strength, preventing edge curling during processing, allowing for high-speed continuous extrusion and increased production.
